About Us

Delivered Overcomers was established in 2014. The late Rex York came to me, Pastor Kerns, with a burden to start a Bible based, Christ centered, addiction recovery program. Together with Bro, Rex we came up with 3 steps of Christian based recovery; Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ and Showing Christ.

Knowing Christ

Step 1 in becoming a Delivered Overcomer is Knowing Christ. In order to do all things through Christ we must first Know Christ.

Growing In Christ

Step 2 in the life of a Delivered Overcomer is Growing IN Christ. This is growing and nurturing a relationship with Christ.

Showing Christ

Step 3 in the life of a Delivered Overcomer is Showing Christ. Sharing and showing Christ to your friends and family.

Four Steps of Christian growth

Salvation

John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

Spiritual growth begins with spiritual birth. No one can grow in Christ without first knowing Christ personally through salvation.

"1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." Just like a baby needs milk, believers must daily feed on the Bible to grow stronger in faith and understanding.

Supplication

Prayer is the believer’s lifeline to God. Talking to Him regularly builds relationship, trust, and spiritual strength.
